Note we have not included the candidates name.   Will leave that to the readers who have written to our Readers Letters Page - having first given the candidate the opportunity to say a few words, which have not materialised at the time of writing this report.

By doing this he cannot say that we are being unfair and are giving political advantage to anyone.  

Let us be clear, his name and the incident,  is in the public domain and we are certainly not providing exclusive news by any means.    The letters would have arrived even if the item were not mentioned on this page - so we think we have been quite considerate.
