Reader challenges Peter Hain MP to save the Empire

The Neath Empire - that is!

Based on what a reader has read in the Evening Post, he is convinced that Peter Hain alone can save the Neath Empire.   A letter on our readers letters page suggests that whatever he did for the Millennium Stadium he can do for the Neath Empire.

The reader mentions the closure of Post Offices, a rather sore point, but suggests that action now on the Empire would make all the difference to some people.

We asked some Labour enthusiasts:  'Can he do it?"  back came a loud reply: "YES, he can!"
