SAVE OUR BUS SERVICE PETITION

After loosing our 122 bus to Waunceirch, the public have to walk up from
Cae wern roundabout with heavy shopping; this is also the case at Ty
Twyn Teg. This is unacceptable, the Council state that the bus service
was not patronised, and therefore it was used in other areas. It is very
much needed for the older generation that do not have transport.

Please support the Petition, there are copies in Pipers Fish Bar
Waunceirch also coming around door to door.

There are several changes to the bus services due from April 1st,
unfortunately this will not be for the better due to cuts in funding,
and this will have an adverse affect on services provided by local
authorities in Wales.

DOUBLE WHAMMY for bus funding.
The bus operators grant, which rebates a portion of fuel duty will be
cut by 25%we have also been told that there will be a cut of 27% by the
current Welsh Government. This poses a real threat to our bus services
and not good news for public transport users.
