Our viewing figures

Our record viewing figures on 20th December 2011 remain unbroken.   Why were viewing figures up that day?   We suspect that a few readers must have phoned their friends to tell them to look at a certain item.  What was it?   

Items remain on line until  they go in our archives section.  Unlike newspapers (said to be tomorrow's chip paper) our news remains on record for all to see at any time.
