Councillor upset over PACT

Councillor upset by PACT Chair

A county borough councillor is annoyed over being asked to stand down as chairman at Bryncoch PACT meetings because of the forthcoming council elections in May.  Cllr. Tony Wyn-Jones expresses his views on our READERS LETTERS page.  Two responses have appeared following his comments.    The next PACT meeting in the Bryncoch area is on Monday, 9th January at 6:30pm at the Bryncoch Community Centre.

PACT meetings give residents the opportunity to talk to councillors as well as the PCSO's covering the area.  Priorities are formulated for the PCSO's, who report back at the following meeting.

Follow-up   A new letter on our LETTERS page explains the situation more fully.  It basically says that someone is not a candidate until declarations have been made.
