Looking at Local Radio 

Our editorial team has been looking at the websites of the so called local radio stations that can be heard in Neath.   They are not totally pleased with the results.   Their first report (see Menu) gives the dates they came on air.
As for their websites, they seem to be very advert orientated and leave no doubt about their commercial activity.
Our researchers make the point that there should be more to local radio (as local radio should be) than just the music that is played.
In a town with no local newspaper, residents should have a central hub that can foster a true community spirit.
