Conflict with NPT Homes

Council and NPT Homes in conflict

A county borough councillor informs us that NPT Homes, who have taken over the control of council houses in Neath-Port Talbot, appear to be ignoring areas of responsibility formerly covered by the council.
It was stated that lanes and ally ways in Caewern, Neath,  that used to be cleaned and maintained by the council, are now in a filthy state.
The councillor said human faeces added to the problem and that the matter is now becoming a health hazzard.

Wot - no press report!

We were told that the Swansea based Evening Post were going to cover this story - but they have not done so - yet.

Follow-up (3-9-11)   Cllr.Janice Dudley states the area has now been cleaned up by NPT Homes - and hopes that this will be done on a regular basis.
As far as the Evening Post is concerned, it has been stated the the relevant reporter is no longer working for the newspaper - the reason is not known.

We have no proof regarding the allegation made by a former contributor to this website stating that the Evening Post is biased towards the Labour controlled NPT Council and that they tend to avoid reporting on any matters that could embarrass their administration.
