Plaza Cinema Port Talbot
overtaking Empire Neath ?

Many people do not know that the Plaza cinema in Port Talbot belongs to Neath Port Talbot Council.   It seems that they do not know what to do with it.     Now a group of enthusiasts have got the answer - a Multi-cultural Arts and Craft centre.   But will the council listen?

We mention this because the Empire Cinema Neath is also empty and waiting for enthusiastic residents to demand that the building should be a multi-cultural youth centre.  The Gwyn Hall when completed may serve that purpose for adults - but how about our youngsters - our future generation?

It is a pity that there is no group of people in Neath to equal those in Port Talbot who want to restore the Plaza to a building that can benefit the community. 

It is not too late to demand that something be done while the Empire is still in good condition.
