Parking warning
Residents Only -
Removing Road Markings Cause Confusion
Neath Port Talbot CB Council has spent council tax payers money removing 'Resident Only Parking' road markings for resident car parking spaces that still apply. Motorists are now expected to look at signs on posts or walls to see if parking is permitted.
Penalties of £70 are imposed for parking in a resident's parking space.
The same council charges disabled drivers to park in council car parks.
Residents are now aware that there are more traffic wardens on the streets of Neath than there are police officers. We are beginning to wonder if the authorities have got it all wrong?
