Trams in Neath?

Should Neath and District Consider Trams?

This is not so daft as it may sound.   Do you know that there was a tramway running from Briton Ferry to Skewen in 1873?  In 1896 a tram run by town gas was introduced and run by Neath Council.  With motor fuel costing £1.34 per litre - and likely to cost more, it is worth a thought.    Before you laugh, remember that some cities in England have gone back to trams.   At least, we would not have to worry about potholes and speed humps!
