Common path built over?
Have Developers Built Over Common Foot Path?
The above arial photograph was taken before Waterstone developers started building Neath's biggest eye sore at Waunceirch. The view suggests that there was a footpath across the land from Cloda Avenue / Fernlea Park to Waunceirch junior school in the background. If this is correct, it strongly supports the need for the developers to make (restore) a footpath to the Tesco shopping area. It would be to their advantage to keep their site more private.
Below is the developers drawing of what the site will look like when completed. The proposed short cut is shown in red. The black dotted line shows the route through the site if the shortcut is not made.
