Is one way the wrong way at Roman Way?

A consultative period for a one way road system at Roman Way is taking place.  This is prior to a major road scheme on the A48 main road at the so called 'Banana Island' where eventually the western side of the island will see two way traffic.

Although the council rejected an Aldi store in the same area because of congestion, it seems that this scheme is going ahead.   Consultative period?   If we printed this yesterday (1st April) it would be regarded as an April Fool joke!
