Councillor Charged £42 for Carol Service?

It has come to our notice that a Plaid Cymru Councillor is being asked to pay £42 for using the Owain Glyndwr Waunceirch Community Centre, while a Labour councillor is not being charged for using a community hall at Cilfew, it is alleged.  It is not the first time that an unfair charge has been imposed on Plaid Cymru councillors by the Labour controlled community council.

This attitude seems to contradict what was said sometime ago (by a Labour councillor) that the prime aim of community halls was to provide a service to the community and not to make a profit. To charge £42 for using a hall for a carol service seems, to us, to be rather unfair and it is only right that everyone should know about it.
