We are introducing a new in-depth NEWS page to highlight what we think are serious local issues.  It may be useful for those in authority to be aware of how their actions and decisions are accepted by the man in the street.   A team of analytical writers are lined up to present controversial items for our increasing number of readers.   Remember, these honest views are very unlikely to appear in any newspaper - if they did their circulation would soar - like ours.

Forthcoming issues for discussion:-

• Should the council tax in Neath Port Talbot be lower now that they have off loaded the council houses to an association?
• Should the pay of executives be lowered now they have less work and responsibilities because of this?
• Neath Town Centre shopping census - how many mobile phone shops etc etc.
• Is Tesco getting too big and powerful - does 'Every little helps' refer to their profit?
