No Space in car park to support application
The proposed 64 seater foreign food restaurant coming to the Waunceirch shopping area is going to cause more problems than first thought - especially as an alcohol licence has been applied for. The consultation period for the licence expires on 24th March 2011. In the meantime Cllr. Tony Wyn-Jones has asked for a site meeting with the officials concerned to show the potential problems.
It should be remembered that the council once had notices (pictured on left) on the main A48 road stating no access to North Waunceirch and even put a barrier adjacent to the primary school. We must ask the question: 'Have health and children's safety gone by the board?' Also: 'Does greed come before need?'
We ask ALL councillors to consider this matter very seriously - now is the time to act!
Our BIG Question (Menu) is about Neath's Eye Sore at Waunceirch and why a certain councillor has requested an enforcement officer to have a look at it. The site has been nick named 'White's Folly' after the name of the Chief Planning Officer.
