Councillor Resignation Mystery

County Borough Councillor, Tony Wyn-Jones, says there is a reason for his resignation from the Blaenhonddan Community Council and he intends to reveal all in due course - see our READER"S LETTERS page.

However, he admits that he did try to withdraw his resignation but was told it was too late.

We are reminded that the council has a number of unelected councillors - so why the sudden rigid attitude?

We must also keep in mind the MP who resigned about a year ago and put himself up for re-election and got back to the House of Commons - will it happen again in this case?

Cllr. Wyn-Jones is the sort of guy to blow the whistle - when need be.   It seems that this game is not over yet!

A loose cannon ball can be dangerous, one must remember that Cllr.Tony Wyn-Jones will have more freedom to speak outside the Community Council where he cannot be reprimanded for bringing the council into disrepute.
