Time for an update.

Spent yesterday (Thursday 25th April) buzzing around the west coast through heavy showers in my p/up! We made for Ledgowan Hotel for a pub lunch and unfortunately whilst trying to sort out booking for the Highland Branch outing there in June 7/8th it was discovered some big group of people had already booked it back in January! So panic last night for alternatives however sorted with a very agreeable location on the north side of Little Loch Broom on the way to Scoaraig. Badrallach has a bothy - which I have put a deposit down on and camping and other features. It should make a good base for about 8 or 9 Guzzisti. Potentially there are 4 from south of the border and hopefully 4 from the Hielans to take them on at singing and falling over.

This weekend there is a lunch at the Kildary pub - the Shandwick Inn aka "Gobies" just off the A9. Arrival at about 12:00 on Sunday 28th April should ensure a table for lunch - it is a popular venue on account of the food - good and lots of it - as I recall from the last time I was there.
