 About Nadine

For the last 20 years Nadine has been involved in teaching and lecturing to people of all ages and to groups from 10 to 3,000. Throughout this period she has also been a public speaker, historian, author, storyteller, mother and hedgewitch. (That's yet another story!!)

This new series of talks entitled 'Skeletons in the cupboard' draws on her great love of history and storytelling skills to entertain and enthral her audiences.

The inspiration for these talks comes from our growing fascination with finding out who we are and where we come from. Countless people now research their family history, sometimes finding connections to famous or infamous people.

Nadine has taken a fictitious, aristocratic family, the De Brasseys to research. Characters have been created to reflect the times they lived in and the events they were caught up in.

To help make these people more believable she comes to the talk authentically dressed & in some cases with suitable artefacts. The result is an entertaining & informative look into Britain’s colourful past in Nadine’s unique style.
