Today, Tuesday the 13th April was the last day at the Hopey Bingo held over the winter and spring at the clubrooms. Saturday the 17th sees the start of the new bowling season and Tommy Lochead looking for a new job.

Tommy just loves to shout out the numbers, and he just hates to get his picture taken by you know who!

I popped into the Bingo session and totally disrupted the proceedings by taking a few shots of the regulars this year. I thought that the only person winning was Margaret Coull, but then I discovered that she was the person taking the winning card/s up to Tommy  to check that they are correct before they pay out the winnings. It was actually Marion Newton who was winning all the money.

Just like at the bowling you get a good cup of  tea, the main difference however, was the chocolate biscuits and the bowl of sweets.

Hope the bowling this season is as good fun as the bingo!
