My Story and My Pages

Everything expressed in this site is based on my own experience and from a consensus of opinions during my researches on the web and in various groups. There has not been any proper research on hormone regimes so what suits me will not suit everybody. Some are more receptive to the effects and body mass will also have a bearing.

You should find what is best for you. Most Therapists will not know and give a possibly insufficient dose. They tend to follow 'a one size fits all'.

We are all born with hormone receptors, oestrogen, progesterone, testosterone and many others. That is why these hormones are detectable in males and females. Oestrogen, progesterone are the main female hormones and testosterone in males. The respective sex hormones are higher in the appropriate sex. What we do is totally alter that balance and get the hormones to nearer the female range.

In my site I hope to help you to understand the condition and how to have an easier journey to fulfilment.

This site is the diary of my transitioning, how I got to where I am now and the Specialists and friends who helped me get here.

Please be advised that there is nothing lewd or pornographic on this site. However, there is information of a personal nature, which some might find embarrassing. If so, please leave now.

During early transitioning we need help, support and advice. Where do we get that support? I found several transsexual support groups on the internet. These were specifically for Transsexuals and were safe and well moderated. No one was there to judge; just to give their support and share experiences. Many like myself, who finished their transtioning and happily living their new lives for several years, have stayed on to give that support based on experience.

If you wish to comment on anything that I have expressed on my site, please contact me on either of my e-mail addresses, michellejdibble@aol.com or stresstherapy@aol.com or use the form at the bottom of the 'About Transsexualism' page. I will always reply to your comments/ questions, supportive or otherwise. But please no abuse.
