Matters of interest from Full Council Meeting 20 December 2011

· Cllr Jennifer Fitzgerald has resigned from the PC
· Kelmarsh Wind Farm approved by Planning Inspectorate
· NCC plans financial cuts for PCSO’s
· Brixworth DDC office to close end December 2011. Assistance for some services available in the Library.
· 21/20 January public consultation on new proposed development (off Northampton Road on right hand) at the Library/Community Centre
· DDC will no longer send letters to neighbours regarding planning applications, only notices will be displayed in the area
· Several village road closures in the spring for road surface maintenance
· New underground cables to be laid to replace overhead cables in Spratton Road
