Planning Committee

Daventry District Council is the statutory planning authority and the Parish Council is a consultee. The Planning Committee meets every three weeks, it considers planning applications for Brixworth and then sends its comments on to the District Council. The committee also considers consultation documents referred to it from the Full Council regarding planning/development matters.

The Brixworth Village Design Statement (VDS) has been formally adopted by Daventry District Council as Supplementary Planning Guidance. This means the council must consider the guidance when deciding whether to approve a planning application for a development in the village. To view the Brixworth VDS please click here
