Brixworth Neighbourhood Plan
06 July 2011

The Parish Council has formed a Working Group to develop a Neighbourhood Plan for Brixworth.  There will be development and the purpose of the Working Group is to seek the views of the inhabitants of Brixworth, regarding how the village might control its development in the next period of time.  These views will then be condensed into a Draft Neighbourhood Plan.  It is anticipated that the Draft Plan will be presented to the Parish Council, at about the time the Localism Bill becomes law in early 2012, after which, it will be offered to the voters of Brixworth for approval.  If approved, it will become primary planning consideration in any Planning Application relating to Brixworth, received by Daventry District Council.

On 5 July 2011 Chris Bowden, from Navigus Planning and Richard Wood from the District Council gave presentations to Parish Councillors and members of the public on Neighbourhood Plans and the West Northants Joint Core Strategy.
