Electoral Review of Daventry District Council
21 July 2010

The independent Local Government Boundary Commission for England is carrying out an electoral review of Daventry District Council. The review will aim to make local elections fairer by ensuring that all councillors represent a similar number of people across the area and that your council has the appropriate number of councillors to represent your area effectively.

We want to know your views on the right number of councillors needed to represent the council area as a whole and to work to ensure that quality services are provided to residents.

Visit our website at www.lgbce.org.uk and click on ‘about electoral reviews’ to help us answer this question and to download some helpful information. Once we’ve decided how many councillors there should be, we’ll be consulting again on the numbers, names and boundaries of the new wards.

Have your say
