Faberge

This design was perchased so quickly I didn't even have a chance to take a photograph. It wasn't off the jigg for five min. before Jennifer N. bought it, sword and all, for her husband Chris.  I have to say it is probably the most striking design yet to come out of Jacob's Armory with a two wire twist in black, flanked by a pair of left and right twists in silver and seperated from the repeat by three strands of multy fiber brass.  (I will post a photo when the lucky pair send me some.

The Faberge was so named by Mr Victor Markland (Mid-Atlantic Manly Arts/ Mid-Atlantic Society for Historical Swordsmanship)

Victor began his study of historical swordsmanship about 15 years ago. For several years he has participated in, presented and organized programs on period martial arts at diverse venues in the USA He is most proud of the annual Manly Arts Day, now in its seventh year, held at Hampton National Historic Site. He practices regularly with the Mid-Atlantic Society for Historical Swordsmanship (MASHS) and administers the Mid-Atlantic Manly Arts group (MAMA). Victor is glad to have finally found a use for those degrees in philosophy.

Thank you victor for your kindness and company and Chris for helping me carry my mobile studio down stairs into the basement of St Stevens... well at least I have a picture of that...  and thankyou Jennifer.
