Sky’s litter was from the accidental mating with her brother Quinn. As I didn’t know she had been caught and she showed no sign till 7 weeks in, it was too late to abort. Although I wish dearly it hadn’t happened, the pups they have produced are absolutely stunning. Sky had 9 pups in total, we lost the first one so had eight in total (4 boys and 4 girls). She produced all 9 in just over 3 hours, it was like shelling peas for her. Strangely, they produced 3 all black pups (2 boys and 1 girl). There must be a black gene in there somewhere from either mum or dad and the two of them together brought it out. I have always been a fan of the traditional black and tan, but I have to say the all blacks are stunning. All the pups apart from the three I kept (Zak, Charley and Merlin) went to good loving homes and I still maintain contact with the new owners.
