In 2025, we celebrated the bravery of the aircrews and boat crews during WWII where
RAF and Navy launches saved pilots and aircrew from the sea.

For Christmas time, we celebrate with the Canal Trip boats and the Portsmouth Model Boat Display Team by putting on a dazzling show of lights and pyrotechniques as Father Christmas arrives into the Canal Basin on the trip boat. Further information can be seen on the Canal Website for dates. It's great fun for everyone, especially us. We dress up our model boats in Christmas lights. The crowd on the quay side love it with lots of "Ooooos" and "Ahhhhs" and "Yoho ho's" from Santa.
