Despite a good pre season Bramham hardly got out of first gear in a woeful first half display against a weak Otley Team.

The game was played at a snails pace with openings few and far between and it looked unlikely that either side would muster up enough effort to attempt a strike at goal.

It was a suprise then when a mazy run from the Otley striker culminated in a penalty as Bramham defenders recklessly  dived in and eventually brought the forward down for a stonewall penalty. The result being that Bramham found themseleves 1 down at the break.

Bramham were much brighter in the second half and drew level on 70 minutes when Milner pounced on a spillage from the keeper to scramble the ball home.

From that point it was all Bramham with Otley hanging on by their fingertips, but on a rare break away they forced a corner and scored the winner deep into injury time.

Bramham were a shadow of the team that took all before them last season, but nevertheless were worthy of at least a point if not all 3,but football can be harsh and they were severly punished for that dreadful firts half display.
