Bramham were gifted an opening goal after just 5 minutes when the alert Linyard retaining his place after a good weekend performance nipped in to intercept a poor back pass.

As had been the case two weeks earlier the defences dominated much of the play with Bramham having the lions share of the chances in the first half but Deighton coming more into the game in the second.

Clear cut chances were few and far between. Tinker was a towering presence throughout this game and along with Hutchinson and Whittaker dominated  the air and snuffed out the wave of attacks that the visitors launched in the last quarter.

Bramham were always a potent threat up front and as Deighton pressed for the equaliser it was only a matter of time before they would succumb on the counter. Field netted twice in the closing minutes to secure Bramhams passage into the semi final where they will travel to meet Harlow Hill.

A rock solid performance all round
