Following their defeats at the weekend both teams were able to turn out strengthened squads for this fixture  which is generally a close affair and this match was no exception.

Throughout the evening much of the play was confined to the middle third with clear cut chances a rare commodity. Defences were dominant and it was not until the hour mark before the deadlock was broken.

A corner on the right was partially cleared and Jonny Walton was on hand to rifle Bramham ahead from 15 yards, reminiscent of his strike in the earlier encounter between the two sides earlier in the season.

Bramham had the lions share of the possession all night but following a mis judged pass, McEntee was able to run the length of the Deighton flank and pinpoint a cross from the bye line which was crashed into the roof of the homesides net 15 minutes from time.

Thereafter the defences regained their stranglehold on the game and the points were shared
