Bramham simply surrendered this game and were unceremoniously dumped outof the Intermediate cup by a workmanlike and committed Knaresbrough side.

Bramham only had one goal to show for thier efforts in the first half and that was a penalty converted by Jason Wright after 29 minutes. Knaresbrough were already ahead at that stage and were 3 - 1 up by the break, with the home defence all at sea and commitment totally lacking throughout the team.

Once again though Bramham had created some good openings but failed to convert, whereas the visitors gladly accepted the gifts that came their way

In the second half Knaresbrough must have thought that Santa had arrived early as more gifts were showered on them. With 3 own goals against, Bramham effectively beat themselves as Knaresbrough strolled through the afternoon for what must have been one of their easiest ever victories.

Ryan Dowson scored a consolation for Bramham in the final minutes, but the ease with which they were brushed aside asks some serious questions of the desire and hunger thar currently exists in the Bramham ranks. On their day they are a match for anyone, but some days they are a match for no one!
