Bramham started well and made all the running in the early stages and they were rewarded with a 12th minute goal from Hick whose shot from 20 yards dipped over the keepers head when it semed that he had it covered.

There were chances at both ends as the half developed with Tasker making several fine saves from close range to keep the visitors at bay. Jason Wright also carved out some good openings but his scoring touch deserted him.

A long ball down the right flank seemed to have Tasker caught in two minds and the oncoming forward beat him to the ball which broke to Dodsworth in front of goal but he failed to clear and the ricochet ended in the Bramham net for yet another sloppy goal.

On the hour  Pannal were given a free kick on the dge of the box and the luckless Tasker was beaten by a vicious deflection and the vistors were in front.

More chances came Bramhams way and with time running out Hick Grabbed his second of the game with a fine goal which he stroked in to the corner of the net with the outside of his foot.

The game moved into extra time and once again Pannal grabbed the lead when a through ball found the home side defence missing and the game seemd to have slipped away.

Bramham piled forward and Jason Wright finally found his scoring touch to take the tie to penalties, where the vistors made it to the last 8 winning 5-4.

Whilst the result was disappointing and in particular the defensive work there were some good performances amongst the Bramham squad. Hick looked lively all afternoon and his goal were a just reward for his efforts. Alker as usual turned in another solid display in difficult conditions and Smith had another good game. Dowson looked sharp on his introduction.
