Bramham 0 Harrogate Railway Res 5

by Unknown - 18:30 on 30 October 2010

Once again a Bramham side took to the field ravaged through injury and work committments and whilst at times they have shrugged off the absence of key players today the squad was found wanting.

Matters were made worse when influential skipper Crawley who had grabbed a crucial goal in last weeks narrow victory had to leave the field after jut 10 minutes with a recurrence of an injury problem.

From that point on Railway dominated much of the play and were sent on their way with a hotly disputed penalty, but with the so many absentees the floodgates opened and Rail had the game in the bag as they lead 4 -0 at the break.

Whilst not wishing to take anything away from a fine display by the visitors Bramham were off the pace and at times woeful as they surrender possession all too easily and had little shape about their play.

The second half was marginally better and the homeside at last showed some of the spirit that has seen them notch up 22 home games without defeat .

Railway were good, Bramham were poor and the result was about right.
