Bramham 4 Clifford 1

by Unknown - 18:29 on 09 October 2010

It was good to see the return of  Jonny Walton and the response from  those who had to sit this game out, notably Jo Collins, Jordan Claxton - Ruddock, Jack Crawley and  Simon Wright, all  appreciating the need to rotate the players within the squad.

Clfford were understrength and under pressure for much of the 1st  half as Bramham ran in three fine goals. Tesfa Walton opened the scoring after 12 minutes and Danny Greensmith added two more to his  tally for the season.

It looked as though Bramham might run away with this game, but Clifford to their credit dug in deep and battled all afernoon in what was a typical Derby encounter with challanges flying.

Clifford  got a goal back on the break  but Simon Wright lobbbed the keeper from 20 yards to seal another comfortable win for the home side.
