There was little to choose between these two sides in the opening half with chances a rare commodity as the defences had the upper hand.

Hutchinson continued at the heart of the Bramham defence and in the absence of Simon Wright was accompanied by Matty Dodsworth and both looked solid and rarely troubled. Jason Wright return to spearhead the Bramham attack but they were thwarted on several occasions by a tight offside trap.

Bramham were quick out of the blocks after the interval and Stapleton hit a sweet left footed drive into the bottom corner to give them  the lead. Just 3 minutes later Jason Wright was pulled down on the edge of the area and a well flighted free kick doubled the lead.

The homeside were well in control at this point with Crawley and Walton working tirelessly in midfield and it was Crawley who effectively secured the points with a fine near post header on 70 minutes.

Styans were competetive to the end but with Prendagast making a welcome return  and Smith  again closing down raids down the flank it was pleasing to return a clean sheet, in a well drilled performance against useful opponents
