Bramham 3 Pateley Bridge 2

Bramham were back in league action with Pateley Bridge, last years runners up taking an early lead following a header from a corner in the 3rd minute.

From that early setback Bramham controlled much of the 1st half with some excellent passing and movement. The home sides reply came on 20 minutes when Malkinson crashed in from close range following a long spell of possession.

Simon Wright put Bramham ahead 10 minutes later from an acute angle and headed home from close range for a 3-1 lead at the break.

The visitors showed why they had finished runners up last season with a battling second half display and grabbed a goal bag with 20 minutes to go.

There were half chances at both ends but Bramham held firm to take the points.
