Bramham 2 Harold Styans 1

by Unknown - 16:51 on 26 July 2009

Bramham entertained Harold Styans in a competetive pre season friendly at Freely Lane

Styans took the lead after 20 minutes following a fine raid down the left flank, with defenders commmitting early allowing the visitors to stroll through for a quality finish.

There was little between the sides at the break but Bramham looked more adventurous in the early stages of the second half  and assured at the back with debutant Jonny Walton alongside Chris Elliott at the heart of the defence.

A useful ball from Walton set up an overlap down the right and Collins was on hand to drive the cross home from close range.

With 10  inutes remaining Collins broke loose in the penalty area and gained a stonewall penalty for a clear trip as he closed in on goal. Danny Jacklyn converted to give the homeside victory in a well fought game played in a good spirit

The Bramham management team were well pleased with the performances of all on display , with all of the newcomers making a good impression
