Following their 5 - 2 victory last season Bramham arrived in confident mood to take on  an  unbeaten Addingham side who are always a tough proposition on their own patch.

The visitors started well and dominated much of the first half possession and created some half chances with Wright, Hughes and Alker all going close.

Addingham were restricted to raids on the counter attack but apart from a scare after 20 minutes they were little trouble with Tasker being a spectator as Robinson and Matty Dodsworth dealt comfortably with the Addingham forwards.

It was no suprise after 40 minutes when Bramham took the lead with Gareth Hughes once again on the scoresheet with a low drive from 18 yards which found the corner of the net.

Addingham were quick out of the blocks at the start of the second half and caught Bramham cold when a cross whipped in from the right flank was smashed in from 12 yards to level the scores.

The home team continued to press forward although the Bramham back four well marshalled by Matty Dodsworth and Richard Robinson looked rock solid. Robinson having one of his best games for a while time and again snuffed out the Addingham threat.

Alker was a driving force in the middle of the park and was unlucky to be cautioned for what looked like an innoculous challenge.

Jason Wight finally settled this tie, sidestepping a couple of defenders before releasing a wicked low drive into the bottom corner from 20 yards.

It was disapointing to see Alker sent off for a second yellow card after what seemed to be a perfectly reasonable tackle, but Bramham were in control as the final whistle blew on a good if not pretty performance
