Bramham 1 Otley Town 2

by Unknown - 07:47 on 09 March 2008

On a blustery day Bramham started well, having the bulk of the possession thorghout much of the 1st half and desrvedly went in 1 up thanks to a fine strike from Brett Hudson from 14 yards. The home side had several chances to take the game away from Otley but the visitors keeper was in fine form as was Tasker in the Bramham goal, pulling off some good stops when needed.

In the second half it was Otley with the wind behind them who dominated much of the play and they deservedly equalised on the hour mark and from that point always looked likely to run out winners. They clinched their victory in the 88 th minute with a simple tap in from close range. Tasker had another good game making several top notch saves, but Otley were the better team on the day securing a double over out of sorts Bramham.

The result still leaves Bramham with some work to do to guarantee their Premier League place for next season, albeit one victory from their remaining 5 games should see them safe.
