The scoreline in this game tells the story, it was men against boys, and the boys from Thackley were fitter and faster and younger than the men from Bramham and as a result won at a canter.

Lloyd in the Bramham goal was simply outstanding, and the 2 0 half time score could have been much much worse were it not for his heroics. Time after time he singlehandedly saved his team, with a string of high quality saves.

In the second half the floodgates opened as Bramham were taken apart by a team far too good for this league. It is simply astonishing that Thackley trail Thirsk at the top of the Premier League. Having played both sides in recent weeks on ths showing Thackley look head and shoulders above anything else in the Harrogate League.

As far as Bramham are concerned they battled to the very end and never let their heads drop, rarely are they likely to come across such superior opposition at this level
