Following their 6-3 defeat against the same opposition in Bradford just 3 weeks ago, Bramham knew they would have to be at thier best to get anything out of this game as they desperately seek  points in their battle against the drop.

The couldnt have had a better start when Smith put them in front from close range on 28seconds, but the lead was short lived and with just 20 minutes on the clock they were 2-1 down

There was much more of an edge about Bramhams play than had been seen all season and their were signs that for the first time this season that their combative spirit was returning as they chased down every ball and gave the visitors little time to settle on the ball.

It was Smith again who struck to bring the sides level on the 40 minute mark, crashing the ball high into the roof of the net from fully 35 yards, a wonder strike!

Smith was outstanding throughout this match and oozed quality as he sprayed passes around the field with ease and accuracy.

Following some sloppy defending Bramham again went behind just before the interval, but they picked themselves up at the break and were every inch the equal of the Bradford outfit in the second half.

Andy Linyard  headed in the equaliser with 15 minutes to go and from that point the game could have gone either way, but a draw was a fair result on the day
