Bramham took an early lead when a the Thackley keeper failed to hold a free kick floated in from Wright and Firth was on the spot to open the scoring in the 3rd minute.

From that point Thackley dominated mch of the possession with some slick movement and interchanges without ever really threatening to score and it was  a solo run on the half hour mark which saw them draw level.

Bramham for all their lack of possesion did carve out and sqaunder good chances which they came to regret as Thackley got a strangle hold on nthe game going 3 - 1 up in the 65th minute.

For a while Bramham looked rocky and in danger of being overrun, but they got back into the game with 15 minutes remaining when Dowson scored from close range. The homeside looked caable of snatching a point but in the dying minutes Thackley clinched the game with a breakaway goal.

There were some noteable performances for Bramham in particular Elliott and Hudson, both outstanding on the day.
