Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park arranged Doors Open Days on 1st and 2nd September for several buildings in Cowal. We were pleased to take part, and welcomed over 50 people to the Mausoleum, where visitors were given a short talk about the project and building, and saw a display featuring these and also some of the "residents". St.Munns' Church was also open for Tours and Teas. As this is the first time this area has been included in the Doors Open Scheme , we were very pleased with the interest, and two visitors have joined the History Group as a result.
