Hugh & Nell ventured into unknown territory today -  a visit to Langdale in the Lakes where the WBCS were holding their annual Shepherd's Meet.  They met up with Jacky G, Mirk & Diva for a good days herding.  Nell pleased Hugh by adapting well to the strange venue & sheep - herwicks, & by doing some good work.   Her speed & commitment were met with approval by the onlookers  eliciting the comment ' I'd take her home!'

 Interestingly of the four Beardies who 'had a go' three were KC registered!!  Attending but not taking part were Barry Bray's Bramble & our Bess's half sister B Balmy Breeze ( sister to the famous Robbie!)
