May 18th 2010 - My first ever 10 mile time trial, I completed it in 28 mins 54 seconds which I was pleased with despite my mishap! The route was the Sulby 10 Mile TT route (CTT Code NC10/16) which started in Husband Bosworth and finished just outside next the the gliding club. Time was lost due to my seat post dropping after 2.5 miles - my fault for not checking it was done up! http://connect.garmin.com/activity/33760583

May 9th 2010 - Today I did a 40 mile bike ride with Leon LLoyd, Martin Johnson and Matt (Martins Friend). It was a good 40miles out in the Leicestershire countryside so thanks to jeremy (Leon's friend) for planning such a good route. http://connect.garmin.com/activity/32722336

April 11th 2010 - Today I joined around 1500 other runners to participate in the wrigth Hassel 2010 Regency 10Km run. The run is based around Leamington Spa, a great route and a very well organised event. Time wise was good for everyone, the winner finished in 32 minutes (thats quick!) and we done it in the following, 1)Alan Farmer  40 mins 48 sec, 2) Kev Burgoyne 41 mins 55 sec, 3) Dave Sparrow 48 mins 27 sec, 4)Nick Burgoyne 49 mins 04 sec , 5) Richard Tyler 49 mins 16 sec & 6) Craig Burgoyne 50 mins 18 sec. March 21st 2010 - Sport Relief 2010 6 Mile Run in warwick Uni was todays challenge, please with my 42 min 40 seconds completion time however the distance was not a full 6 miles, according to the Garmin it was 5.2 miles. Anyway besides this it went as well as can be expected due to me having a cold all week and only being able to breath through my mouth. The course was tricky due to the weather conditions the day before, the cross country route was slippie under foot and very muddy! February 7th 2010 - The Stratford CC Reliability Ride was again a great succes. 54 miles in the countryside and the weather held out - no rain and the roads were fairly dry. We set off at 10am in the first group, Nick and I led the group out for the first 12/13 miles, Kev unfortunatly had a mechanical problem right at the start so it wasnt until about 16 miles that he caught and passed us with one of the Elite groups! The first 27 miles were mainly up hill so we were glad to see that come and go. The group got split up slightly towards the end due to people stopping for "breaks" but in the end everyone got round safely and in a respectable 3 hours 20 mins.
