We are entering into an anxious but exciting time now, as our two ladies Madge and Beattie are in the last few days of their pregnancies....

Both are blooming and looking uncharacteristically enormous and bulky!  Beattie has refused to let impending motherhood get in the way of her energetic walk times, though she is banned from doing too much with her preferred companions and is more usually accompanied by eleven-year-old Meg - and Madge has dug herself a huge cave and equipped it with a few essentials - her favourite toys, two dog bowls, three bones and a Kong!!!

Madge should be the first to whelp as she is due this Saturday, with Beattie due approximately four days later.  Fingers crossed for safe deliveries.....
