Despite a damp and dismal weather forecast, Liz decided to take Beattie and Honey to support this nice local show, leaving behind the veteran Ruby, who would have appreciated getting wet through rather less than her two daughters!

Both had a good day, winning their respective breed classes and AV Pastoral classes.  Honey took Best of Breed and then followed it up with winning the Pastoral Group under substitute judge for the day Mr Roy Brandon. 

Unfortunately this meant a long wait in the car before Best In Show! While the rain poured steadily down, the dogs snored peacefully and Liz was able to catch up on her reading! Two hundred pages later, as a watery sun peeked shyly through, a handful of stalwarts remained to support us and dismantle a very soggy showground.  Congratulations to the lovely Pointer and Lhasa which were BIS and RBIS and RBIS respectively.....what a day we all had! Nothing quite like the Great British Summer is there?
