Thanks to Lyn in Scotland for a nice picture of Tully (Talraz Trailblazer) posing with some of his trophies.

Interestingly Lyn recently arranged to have a sample of Tully's DNA tested as part of the Finnish study into auto-immune and other diseases potentially affecting Bearded Collies and other pedigree dogs, and found he possesses an unusual and so far encouragingly healthy haplotype.

Genetics is a complex subject but as we increase our level of understanding and information we can gain further tools to assist our aim of breeding healthy puppies which will grow up into healthy long-lived dogs
