We thought young Lola (Talraz Wild Honey) ought to have a little pre-Cruft's training, so entered her at this local open show, where the Beardie judge was Mr, Barry Denyer

Sadly she was the only one in her Yearling class, and there was only one other Beardie in Open, but she came home with a couple of nice rosettes for owners Deb and Tony, and as a bonus we had ample opportunity to practise standing and moving in a nice large empty ring!

Ruby came with us for moral support, and had a good day too, winning her Veteran class under judge Mrs Lynne Scott.  Ruby later ended the day by receiving an invitation to represent Huddersfield in the Eukanuba Golden Oldies competiion to be held in April, so quite an honour, and a good night out to look forward to.
