Beginners Making Progress

While Beattie awaits delivery of her new show coat, she can concentrate on her herding lessons....

Having overcome the unfortunate "butting incident" she has regained much of her confidence, and is more than willing to circle with enthusiasm - in her preferred direction of anti-clockwise!

With a little persuasion she can now also manage clockwise.......

......and either way she likes to keep her focus on the sheep!

   Beattie

In the meantime Roxy is making great progress, with her natural calm wide-running style she is learning to run both ways fluently, and is getting to grips with the concept of "Stop!"-  here illustrated beautifully!

Our beginner Beardies still have some way to go to be in the same class as their uncle Mirk, who continues to make impressive progress

Not only can Mirk steer a small group of sheep around a course of hurdles with enviable precision......

.....but he can also turn up the power and speed when necessary to outrun in a large field and control the larger flock, good lad Mirk - !
